After completing their internships at the end of the summer, a new adventure will begin for them: Alice will join us to start a research master's degree, and Brice to start a PhD.
During her internship, Alice was able to simulate and start the corrections of aberrations of signals through an aberrator by a matrix approach, and she will continue and optimize this correction during her master's degree by applying it in vivo to detect micro infarcts in the brain.
After obtaining his engineering degree specializing in applied mathematics scheduled for December 2020, Brice will begin his doctorate in January 2021. During his end-of-study internship, he was able to work on the neural network application for 3D ultrasound localization microscopy on immobile organs. During his doctorate, he will focus on the application of these methods in a dynamic context to obtain myocardial angiograms and a quantitative estimate of blood flow.
Good luck to both of you with these new projects in the lab!
