Samuel is a research master's student in biomedical engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. He joined the lab in May 2019 as part of an Undergraduate Research Fellowship (USRA) funded by NSERC and an FRQNT supplement. During the summer of 2019, he worked on the application of beamforming algorithms. In particular, he worked on iterative algorithms such as the algebraic reconstruction method (ART). Since September 2019, he has been designing a system to map the pressure fields emitted by HIFU in the context of blood-brain barrier opening.
