The Provost Ultrasound Lab
works on the development of new devices and methods
for 2D and 3D ultrasonic medical imaging
Provost's Ultrasound Laboratory develops innovative techniques based on ultrasound, aimed at both diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Here are some of the current research focuses:
- Mapping the vascular and microvascular network of the heart.
- Developing new dynamic biomarkers for the brain.
- Mapping the vascular network using artificial intelligence.
- Facilitating targeted drug delivery to the brain by opening the blood-brain barrier with focused ultrasound.
Provost's Ultrasound Laboratory is located in Montreal at Polytechnique School.
