Project
Automatic correction of speed of sound for 3D ultrasonic localization microscopy
Fundings
TransMedTech PhD excellence scholarship
Scholarship from the Unité de Participation et d'Initiation à la Recherche (UPIR) of Polytechnique Montréal
Paul joined the laboratory in October 2019 as part of a research initialization grant (UPIR) funded by Polytechnique, then moved on to a doctorate in May 2021. His project consists of developing an algorithm to automatically correct for variations speed of sound in ultrasound imaging acquisitions. More specifically, his project involves developing an algorithm to take into account the inhomogeneity of the medium and correct the aberrations caused by it.
