Stephen Alexander Lee, Postdoctoral Fellow

Stephen received his PhD from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York. His thesis "Focused Ultrasound Neuromodulation of the Peripheral Nervous System" details how ultrasound can modulate peripheral neurons for pain mitigation and treatment.

He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Engineering Physics at Polytechique Montreal. Here, he is researching, in the brain microvasculature, how small capillary vessels can enhance our understanding of neurovascular processes in neurodegeneration and stroke.
