Jonathan Poree, Research Associate, Platform Expert Professional
Polytechnique Montréal & TransMedTech Institute
Jonathan Poree received his PhD from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Montreal University. His thesis “Assessment of cardiovascular biomechanics using non-invasive ultrasound elastography” details how ultrasound imaging can be used to assess biomechanical properties of tissue non-invasively.
He is currently a Research Associate in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal and the head of the Mobile Ultrasound Imaging and Therapy Platform of the Laboratory. The platform offers on-site development and deployment of ultrafast ultrasound imaging and therapy tools, tailored to the specific needs of researchers and manufacturers in a wide range of fields including neuroscience, cardiology, non-destructive testing and artificial intelligence.
His main research focuses on the development of Myocardial Ultrasound Localization Angiography in the beating heart and Transcranial Ultrasound Localization Microscopy.
