Alexis Leconte, PhD Candidate
Polytechnique Montréal

Alexis Leconte is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, jointly supervised by Prof. Jean Provost and Dr. Jean-Claude Tardif. His research focuses on developing Ultrasound Localization Microscopy (ULM) for imaging the myocardium, aiming to visualize and quantify microvascular blood flow in the beating heart.

His main contribution is the development of a novel microbubble tracking technique that improves flow measurement accuracy. He holds an engineering master’s degree (MSc Ing) in Applied Mathematics from ENSTA Paris (France) and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
